What does the word "cremains" mean?

We use the word "cremains" in place of the more commonly used word "ashes". The term ashes is incorrect as that is not what we receive from the crematory after the cremation of a living thing. We also feel the word "cremains" is a much more respectful term.

Will my jewelry look like the examples in the pictures?

No, it will not because all cremains are unique and no two pieces  look alike. Texture and color vary from a dark powder to an ivory granular. If the cremains you send for your order are dark the finished piece will also be darker as indicated below on the far left. The pieces on this website were created with lighter cremains like those pictured on the far right. This photo shows only three examples because it is not possible to show all the possibilities.

If you do not wish to see the cremains in the setting then you may choose one of the six colors available. Once the cremains are colored they will not be visible at all and will appear as a solid "stone".

Do the pendants come with a chain?

Yes, all pendants come with an 18" sterling silver chain.

How long does is take to get my order back?

After receipt of the cremains the order will be completed and shipped in 5 - 7 business days.

Will all the cremains I send for my order be used in my jewelry?

Can I wear my jewelry in the water?

We DO NOT recommend jewelry be submerged in water or any other liquids, especially cleaning products. It should be cared for like any other valuable jewelry and will last a lifetime.

Is it possible to have to cremains of more than one person and/or pet in one setting?

Yes, it is. If they are in separate bags we will take a small portion of each and place them together.

If I change my mind can I get the cremains back out of the setting?

No, once they are set you will not be able to have them returned to their

original state. We encourage our clients to take their time choosing their jewelry as it is permanent.

What do I do after I place my order?

After ordering you will need to place approximately (1) teaspoon of the cremains

in a plastic baggie and seal it. Mail to us at:

 Jo Bawol

Fairview, PA 16415

Please enclose a copy of your order OR your order number.

Will all the cremains I send be put in the jewelry?

We will not use all the cremains you send and any that are not placed in the setting are returned to you with your completed order. The reason we ask for (1) teaspoon is because it gives us a selection of what pieces will best compliment the setting.

How long does it take to get my order back?

After we receive the cremains from you it will take from 5-7 days to complete the

jewelry and place in the mail back to you. We will send you notification went it is sent.
